Just installed - can't start at all!

Hi!

I was pretty excited about this game, since it's being claimed as a Stunts sort of remake! Well, that turned me right on, so I rushed into downloading it and the PhysX stuff for making it possible to run this baby... followed all the instructions, and BANG.

But for my disappointment, I constantly keep getting these 2 windows, one after another, the moment I try to start the game:

After that, the window just shut down, and nothing else happens.

I don't know what's going on! Here's my system:

Dell Optiplex GX745 - Intel Core2Duo E6400 @ 2,13GHz
2Gb RAM DDR2
160Gb HD Western Digital SATA 7200RPM
ATI Radeon X1550 512Mb DDR2/PCI-E
Windows XP Pro SP2 - Brazilian Portuguese

Man, I'd love to get this game running... :-(

I would like to help you, but I need more information.
Could you please post your ogre.log file?
You find it in your "c:\documents and settings\USER\application data\TileRacer\logs" folder.
(I'm not sure what the folder is called in the Brazilian Portuguese WinXP version, but I think you will find it - by the way, "application data" is a hidden folder).

The ogre.log file helped me to narrow it down.
But I need another log file.
Please also post the CEGUI.log file. It should be in the same folder as the ogre.log file.

Hi!

I did a research on all files on my HD, but I couldn't find such file... :-( I'm supposing this file has something to do with the game GUI, is that right?

the fact is that not even the GUI is generated when I start it... it just gives me that blank screen and pops up the error messages I posted above... :-(

Ok. So it could be the CEGUI.
There is no quick work around. I will add some more information output in the next release.

Sorry, you have to wait for the next update of TileRacer.
I hope we can fix this for you soon.

Same problem here.
I used Dependency Walker to see if there are some dlls missing. There are 2 of it:
msjava.dll
msoert2.dll

updated:
forgot about my configuration...

Please post your ogre.log file with "upload attachment".
We are working on a new update for Tile Racer at the moment.
Maybe we can find this bug with more debug output in the log files.
